A Brief Bio-data of Dr.K.Rajasekhara Rao
Prof.Rajasekhara Rao Kurra is a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at Sri
Prakash College of Engineering,Rajupeta,Tuni and
presently holding several key positions in Sri Prakash Group of Engineering
Colleges as Director.
Having more than 29+ years of teaching and research
experience, Prof. Rao is actively
engaged in the research related to Embedded Systems, Software Engineering and
Knowledge Management. He had obtained Ph.D in
Computer Science & Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU),
Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and produced 60 publications in various
International/National Journals and Conferences.
Dr.K Rajasekhara
Rao was awarded as “Best Academic Dean ” for the year of 2012 in all India
level basis by the Government of Puducherry and Techno Forum,ASDF.Prof.KRR
was awarded with “Patron Award” for his outstanding contribution, by India’s
prestigious professional society Computer Society of India (CSI) for the year
2011 in Ahemadabad. He has been adjudged as best
teacher and has been honoured with “Best Teacher
Award”, seven times.
Dr. Rajasekhara Rao is a Fellow
of IETE, Life Member’s of IE, ISTE, ISCA & CSI (Computer Society of India).
Dr.Rajasekhar is nominated as sectional committee
member for Engineering Sciences of 100th Annual Convention of Indian
Science Congress Association. Prof.Rajasekhar acted
as a chairman –judges panel for CSI-2nd Natioanl
Project Contest (Region-V prelims) and panel of judge for South East Asia
Regional Computer Confederation and Computer Society of India (SEARCC
International School’s Software Competition) for the year 2013 and 2011. He has
been the past Chairman of the Koneru Chapter of CSI.
Dr.K.R.R is a recognized Research
Guide of Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur; Krishna University, Machilipatnam; Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University
(JNTU), Hyderabad; Rayalaseema University, Kurnool
and K.L.University, Guntur. He is contributing as a
member of Board of Studies for CSE & IT, at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Krishna
University, Sree Vidyaniketan
Engineering College (SVEC),Tirupathi & Bapatla
Engineering College(BEC), Bapatla. He extended his
services to K.L.University as Member of Board of
Management, Dean’s Council, Academic Council, Standing Committee, Research
Board & Board of Studies [CSE].
Dr.K.R.Rao is the
Editor-in-Chief
of an International Journal, IJST – International Journal of Systems &
Technologies from Jan’ 2008 to Jan’ 2012.
Presently, Prof.KRR was the CSI-State Student Coordinator of Andhra Pradesh for four times in continous basis from 1st April 2010 to till date.
