Dr. Amoako, John Kani is an educator and offers academic support and career guidance to students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Dr. Amoako has published a number of papers in peer reviewed journals, and has also reviewed journal articles. He organises IT bootcamps, IT field trips, seminars, and workshops, for students. He has participated in a number of international/local conferences, also delivered a keynote speech in an international academic conference in India. Dr. Amoako is currently the Head of the Department of Informatics at Heritage Christian University, Ghana.
He is professionally trained as Coach in Design Thinking, Data Scientist, cloud systems expert, web/educational technologist. Outside academia, he has worked with the International Chamber of Commerce and Ghana Chamber of Commerce as consultant. He is the CEO of his own software company. His goal is to promote international education and to contribute to leadership, community development, team building, cultural exchange, awareness, innovation, and integration.
